The Best Part of My Day
For as long as I can remember I’ve been getting up early, working all day, coming home to clean and cook then bed just to get up and do it all over again. Some days I worked so much I didn’t even cook, I went through a drive through somewhere. I was literally so exhausted I just wanted to sleep when I got home. If I got five hours of sleep, it was a great night!
But for the last two months my days couldn’t been any more different.
To start, instead of an alarm going off at 3am, I get woken up by the laughter of a toddler around 9am. I look at the monitor to see him sitting up looking at the camera smiling from ear to ear. Then comes the notorious, “maaaaaaammmmmaaaaaa” meaning it’s time to come get me.
As I open the door I am greeted with the happiest little boy that is my entire world! All smiles and giggling. Walking from one side of the crib to the window side because he knows the first thing I do is open the curtains so we can see the outside world. Sunshine in the morning makes the entire day start off right.
After a few minutes of looking out, he’s finally ready to get out of his crib and start our day. First, it’s breakfast, then cleanup and playtime while I get some food. Then, it’s his favorite time…. reading time!
After a few stories he’s content for play time by himself so I can clean and get ready for the day. But if our mornings do not go like this, he gets upset and definitely tells me about it.
There is nothing more I’d rather be doing in the mornings going forward.
People ask me if I want to go back to work, if I regret quitting my career to become a stay at home mom? And these are the easiest questions to answer.
No! I regret nothing! My days are worth something now! I get to see my smiling baby boy first thing in the morning. He’s worth it!
He is the best part of my day!

This was great to read. Routine is sooooo important. I’m glad that now your routine revolves around your baby and you can enjoy that time!

Thank you. I can honestly say I didn’t know how important a routine was until the big guy came along and now if we don’t have routine I feel like pulling my hair out. 😁

This was a great read. I can relate so much. I’m currently a stay at home mom now and I have 4 children. It’s a lot of work but well it. 💙

Thank you for your words. It was a scary decision, but I haven’t regretted it one bit! He’s so worth it.

Hi fantastic blog! Does running a blog like this take a large amount of work?
I’ve virtually no knowledge of coding however I had been hoping to start my own blog soon. Anyway, should you have
any ideas or tips for new blog owners please share. I understand this is off topic but I just had to ask.
Thanks a lot!
Miranda
It’s actually pretty easy. Doesn’t take too much time and I have no experience with coding.

Right here is the right site for everyone who hopes to understand this topic.
You realize so much its almost tough to argue with you
(not that I personally would want to…HaHa). You certainly put a brand new spin on a subject which has been written about for
decades. Wonderful stuff, just great!

I think the admin of this web page is actually working hard in support of his web site,
since here every material is quality based information.
