I Feel You!
If you are feeling overwhelmed, like nothing you do is good enough.
I feel you!
If you feel like all your efforts are falling on deaf ears.
I feel you!
If you feel like all you do is clean, but yet the house is never clean!
I feel you!
If you feel like you have no energy left in your body but you have no choice but to keep going.
I feel you!
If you feel like you are failing your child/children every single day.
I feel you!
If you feel like you can never get enough sleep, even when you take naps whenever the baby does.
I feel you!
If you feel like you just want to escape and leave it all behind, but know the love you have for your family is too strong to do any such thing.
I feel you!
Over the past year and a half I’ve been a first time mom to an infant. And on top of that, I am a first-time caretaker to an infant. I’ve never been around babies. I never babysat anyone younger than 4 and definitely no one in diapers! And I’ve never held a baby younger than three months old. Need to say, I was an absolute newby at this whole mom thing. So basically, I had no idea what I was doing, like so many of us!
But I am surviving!!! And I am here to tell you, you will too!
There will be days you feel overwhelmed, exhausted and maybe even wanting to escape. But remember you are what that baby needs! You are that baby’s mother! At the end of the day, that baby will always need you!
Every night as I’m putting my little boy to sleep I first pray for him and his life. Then I thank God for picking me to be his mother and then I sing to him. I started this back when I was pregnant because I wanted him to always know I loved him. Even in the womb. I don’t sing much just something simple I made up:
“You are my son,
You are my love.
You are my gift,
Straight from above.
And I want you to know,
No matter where this life may take you,
No matter what you may do
No matter who you may become,
No matter what you have done,
I will always love you, my son.”
I’m not a song writer or a poet for that matter. But I want my son to know that no matter what I will always love him! Always be here and will always care. Because being a mom is hard! It’s exhausting! It’s the most overwhelming job I’ve ever had. But just because I’m stressed, I never want him to think it’s his fault. I never want my son, my gift from God himself to ever question me if it was worth it.
So, if you are overwhelmed or feeling stressed like you can’t do this anymore. Know you are doing it for the right reasons and it is so worth it!

Of course, not a problem. I use Bluehost as my hosting service, and WordPress for the format. I tried all sorts of different ones before WordPress. But the help desk for WordPress has always been great helping me set up different tools and buttons and even my pages on the blog.
