Saturday Mornings Are the Best!
Every day I wake up early to take the puppy out, then feed the pup, then out again to finish his business. Then, it’s on to the kiddos and the start of our very busy day. First, it’s baths, then the fight of getting dressed and it’s never in the right clothes or the right sweater, o and let’s not get started on the socks, mommy those don’t match! So, it’s the battle of finding matching socks! Then it’s downstairs for breakfast. One kid wants the same thing every morning, chocolate toast, so that’s easy, but the other one, omg Heaven forbid if you give him the same thing two…

I’m Failing….Or at least I feel like I am!
Everywhere I look I see unfolded laundry, dirty dishes, or a toy. In the living room I see unfolded blankets, and un-vacuumed carpet. In the boys’ room I see an unorganized dresser and closet, a basket full of laundry and a hamper full of dirty laundry. And in our room I see a room that hasn’t been properly cleaned in probably 6-8 months because I’m constantly trying to keep the common areas clean! And failing! I’m failing! Some days all I want to do is cry! My toddler is crying yet again for no reason, he wants his stuffed animal, then he doesn’t. He wants to be picked up, then…

More to Love!
When I had my first son, I fell so in love with him I couldn’t imagine loving another child as much. In fact, it scared me thinking about the possibility of having another child, but not loving that child as much. It scared me so much I almost didn’t want another child, but knew my son needed a sibling. I didn’t want him to grow up being lonely or spoiled. Then, I found out I was pregnant with another boy! I wanted a girl this time around since it will more than likely be my last time pregnant, so my emotions took over and I cried for about a week.…

The Most Important Things to Know Before Marriage
You ever wonder why the divorce rate is so high nowadays compared to older generations? You see it all the time people who you think are the perfect couple end up making the announcement they are getting a divorce. Or the opposite, people who you honestly think are so different that they won’t last a year last fifty years! I’ve thought about it a lot since I’ve gotten married and even more so before I got married. It’s crazy really, there’s no rhyme or reason for why some get divorced while others stay together, but I think I’ve figured out some contributing factors to why this is happening by the…

Love At Any Age
I have seen some major heartache in my life but I have also witnessed some even more heartache and nasty breakup from the older generations in my family. And the one thing I have learned from seeing and experiencing it myself is this… There is no right age to find love! And I don’t mean this “short lived” love, I mean true love! Take for instance my uncle, he has been married before, he has had different girlfriends over the years, but 25 years ago he met the one! My Aunt Theresa. And the love you see them share is something I’ve never seen before; growing up was gross to…

Three Types of Love
Three Loves I saw a post the other day that got me thinking. This post was about the three loves a person has in the course of their life. And this post brought light to the topic of love. So, I thought I’d share my take on the topic. So, to start let me explain the three different types of loves. The first love is the love that most often happens when you are young and you don’t think of it as love and you grow apart or break ties over something silly, but when you get older and look back on it, you realize it was love. The second…

My Heart Hurts
My heart is hurting. I cannot even begin to put into words how I’m feeling about this loss. I was excited, but now, I’m devastated. Friday we found out she was having a boy. By Sunday we had a name, Jayden. By Tuesday her water broke at 21 weeks. By Thursday he was born and died in a matter of seconds. A mother and father that was excited to meet their first baby is now a mother and father who are mourning the greatest loss no parents should ever have to experience. As for us, we have a loss for words. Conflicted feelings, but too ashamed to say them. We…

Being Christian That’s Pro-Choice, an LGBT Friend, who Drinks and Curses
So today I had someone approach me about being Christian. She said she would never have known going off my Facebook or blog posts. When I asked her what gave her the impression I wasn’t, she said it was all the opinions I have about LGBT community and the comments on abortion and the cursing in some of my posts and the biggest thing is the posts about drinking or needing a drink. I mean this lady was shocked, she even asked how Christian I am, am I just a believer or baptized and all that. Like the kind that attends church on Christmas and Easter only or a regular…

The One My Soul Loves
You see a man always working and having no time for his family.I see the most amazing hard-working man who always puts his family first. Working full time during the day while running a business full time during the night. You see a man who never has time to hang out with friends.I see a man who needs to catch up on his sleep when he gets some free time because a man can only run on four hours a night sleep for only so long before his body starts shutting down on him. You see a man that is antisocial and thinks he’s better than you.I see a man…

I Feel You!
If you are feeling overwhelmed, like nothing you do is good enough. I feel you! If you feel like all your efforts are falling on deaf ears. I feel you! If you feel like all you do is clean, but yet the house is never clean! I feel you! If you feel like you have no energy left in your body but you have no choice but to keep going. I feel you! If you feel like you are failing your child/children every single day. I feel you! If you feel like you can never get enough sleep, even when you take naps whenever the baby does. I feel you!…
